January as you know has been chaos for not just me but for all. Jul, Kirst, Brit and I organised a catch-up dinner on Thursday night and Mo’s Noodles was mentioned as the place to dine but somehow amongst the chaos I missed that the dinner had been moved from Mo’s to Wok Box.
Blondie that I am, I arrived at Mo’s and was shocked to be told that there was no booking under any of our names. I checked our group chat to prove to the manager that Jul had booked a table for 7pm BUT there in plain and simple English read: ‘I have booked for 7pm at the Wok Box’! Yip I hung my head in shame and moved along swiftly.

Brit and I ordered their fish special- Sesame seed crusted seared Tuna served on Puk Choy and topped with pickled ginger. Jul and Kirst had a chicken noodle dish- didn’t manage to take a picture but it looked just as delish as mine! I highly recommend the Wok Box seared tuna ... never eaten a big piece of seared tuna apart from when I get a tiny morsel in my sushi platter but I will def be having this again, soon! 2015 is well under way and already it's moving by at the rate of knots but that doesn't mean anything when it comes to girl dates! There will be a helluva lot more dinner dates with my girls and there are also a bunch of new places that I can't wait to try out with them. I will be sure to share them all with you Until next time Vanilla Roses x |
