Once again wedding bells chimed and Sandro and I were on our way to Boston 40mins outside of Howick for destination wedding #4 and our 6th and final wedding of 2014... A wedding venue tucked away in a ‘forest like setting’.
The bride and groom were extremely lucky as their service was held outdoors, amongst old tall trees, but not a drop of rain fell throughout the ceremony- the weather had been so mucky and temperamental with short lived rain sessions but they managed to escape this.
A wonderful and loving ceremony and Nadine looked gorgeous and so did her bridesmaids.

After the ceremony the guests headed up to the garden where we had canapés, sipped on pimms and mingled with our friends before being ushered into the Calderwood Hall for the reception.
The bride had, had a stressful time with her dress, just a few days prior to her wedding so in order to be rather safe than sorry, she managed to get her hands on a ‘back-up’ dress. However on the day her ‘first-prize’ dress looked gorgeous but because she had the second dress she decided to let it have its claim to fame and arrived at the reception looking like an absolute princess.
On our tables, all the ladies were given bath salts as a gift. For starters we were served a potato rosti topped with delicate salmon, cream cheese and served with horseradish cream.
After all the formalities we tucked into the buffet spread. I had a little bit of this and a little bit of that, as you can see and for dessert the same… I’m such a sugar sista.

They had a photo booth at their wedding and my oh my after a few glasses of wine, we were all lining up ready to make fools of ourselves… as long as you’re having fun, then that’s a good sign that a wedding was awesome.
Oh I must share this with you all… As you know that I do believe in signs and look what I found at this wedding…
a lady bird landed on my arm and in the ladies loo I found a 10c… I know my grandpa is always looking out for me.
Congrats to Mr and Mrs Windt… all the best as husband and wife.
